Please find below the activities that are scheduled to take place from the week commencing Tuesday 28 May 2024 in connection with the Sydenham Hill Estate Redevelopment Project.

Tuesday 28 May – Friday 31 May (no work on Bank holiday Monday)

Block A:

Building retaining wall foundations
Perimeter drainage installation
Waterproof install ready for splash course

Block B:

Cutting down concrete to foundation piles
Concrete pour to pile caps, ground floor and substation
Reinforcement to concrete foundation piles
Ground floor waterproofing
Perimeter drainage installation
Service trenches at sections for water mains installation

Block C:

Cutting down concrete to foundation piles
Concrete pour to pile caps
Reinforcement to concrete foundation piles
Building the structure to hold the concrete for 1st floor/upper ground floor
Ground floor waterproofing

Otto Close:

Piling
Replace Heras fencing with hoarding

Saturday 1 June

Material reorganisation
Cutting down piles
Reinforcement to concrete foundation piles
Drainage installation
Steel fixing
Otto Close: Piling

Noisy works

Plant movement (excavators and dumpers)
Concrete pumping for piling (Otto Close)
Roller for the pile mat (Otto Close)

Deliveries

Piling rig – please see note below*
Muck removal lorries in and out of main gate

Note/works for coming weeks:

The piling rig and other vehicles for piling at Otto Close will be coming onto site at approximately 10am on Tuesday 28 May. Otto Close will be blocked for around 2 hours until 12pm to unload the rig and plant. Traffic marshalls will be present to direct traffic and to facilitate pedestrian access.
Foundation works are ongoing for further Lovell welfare cabins. The cabins are due to be delivered in w/c 3/6/24.
