Please find below the activities that are scheduled to take place from the week commencing Monday 13 May 2024 in connection with the Sydenham Hill Estate Redevelopment Project.

Monday 13 - Friday 17 May

Block A:

Building the structure to hold the second floor lift shaft
Perimeter drainage installation

Block B:

Cutting down concrete to foundation piles.
Steelwork to concrete floor
Perimeter drainage installation
Ground floor waterproofing

Block C:

Cutting down concrete to foundation piles.
Building the structure to hold the concrete for the first floor
Steel work for the structure

Otto Close:

Boundary hoarding line works - by steps from alleyway to Lammas Green - *See note/diagram below
Reduce level dig for piling mat

Saturday 18 May

Blocks A/B/C:

Concrete pour to Block A - lift core level 2 - this will be carried out during permitted hours
Material re-organisation
Drainage & decking installation
Steel fixing

Otto Close:

Reduce level dig
Steel fixing
Material re-organisation

Noisy works

• Plant movement (excavators and dumpers)

Deliveries

• Muck removal lorries in and out of main gate

• Concrete lorries in and out of the delivery gate

Note

Further to previous notifications relating to works to the manholes/sewer connections in Otto Close, these are on hold whilst we await a temporary works permit.
Works will continue on the hoarding line by the lower steps from the alleyway to Lammas Green. Pedestrian access will be diverted around the lower steps of the alleyway to the zig-zag route. Please see diagram below – the red area will be fenced off, and access will be via the blue arrows. This diversion will be in place until Friday 17 May.
