Sydenham Hill Estate Weekly Works Update: w/c Tuesday 7 May 2024

Please find below the activities that are scheduled to take place from the week commencing Tuesday 7 May 2024 in connection with the Sydenham Hill Estate Redevelopment Project.

Tuesday 7 - Friday 10 May (no work on Bank holiday Monday 6 May)

Block A:

Building the structure to hold the second floor.
Perimeter drainage installation

Block B:

Cutting down concrete to foundation piles.
Steelwork to concrete floor
Drainage installation and waterproofing

Block C:

Building the structure to hold the concrete for the first floor
Steel work for the structure

Otto Close:

Boundary hoarding line works - by steps from alleyway to Lammas Green - *See note/diagram below
Reduce level dig to attenuation tank

Saturday 11 May

Blocks A/B/C:

Material re-organisation
Drainage & decking installation
Steel fixing

Otto Close: TBC

Noisy works

• Plant movement (excavators and dumpers)

Deliveries

• Muck removal lorries in and out of main gate

• Concrete lorries in and out of the delivery gate

Note

Further to previous notifications relating to works to the manholes/sewer connections in Otto Close, these are on hold whilst we await a temporary works permit.
The repairs to the damaged railings in Otto Close will take place from Wed 8 May. The area will be isolated and signage diversion will be in place.
Works will continue on the hoarding line by the lower steps from the alleyway to Lammas Green. Pedestrian access will be diverted around the lower steps of the alleyway to the zig-zag route. Please see diagram in red below – the red area will be fenced off, and access will be via the blue arrows. This diversion will be in place until Friday 10 May.
