Please find below the activities that are scheduled to take place from the week commencing Monday 9 October 2023 in connection with the Sydenham Hill Estate Redevelopment Project.
Monday 9 October - Friday 13 October
Ground excavations for piling rig by Blocks A and C

Installing the retro target stickers on buildings around the estate for surveying/setting out the new building

Notes
As part of the drainage works, we will need to close the pathway by 16-17 Otto Close to carry out the excavation of a manhole. We anticipate this work could take up to 2 days and apologise for the disruption. Notices will be put up by the pathway with an alternate route when the works take place – see plan below.
Update on Asbestos remediation strategy
Further to our previous updates, we can confirm that no asbestos was found at Otto Close. Groundworks will continue in the same manner at Mais House with specialist contractors and consultants on site ensuring that all precautions are undertaken during the removal of asbestos in accordance with strict regulations, with no risk to the safety of residents.
We anticipate that these works will continue until the end of October.
