Please see below activities relating to the Sydenham Hill Redevelopment Project which are due to take place from Monday 27 February 2023.
Monday 27 February – Friday 03 March
Works will include:
· Continuing of soft strip of Mais House. This work will involve the stripping out of any interior fixtures, internal ceilings, temporary and removable structures that aren’t integral to the building to make the site safe prior to demolition.
· Asbestos removal from Mais house by licenced contractor.
· Tree felling works and facilitation pruning works to continue.
· Tree protection fencing to be installed
· Bat relocation works
· Painting of the hoarding
· Existing services identification
· CCTV survey of drainage runs in Otto Close and Rose Court
Saturday 25 February – Sunday 26 February
· No works.
Note
· Our arboriculturist and ecologist have attended site to review appropriate progress with the tree felling, protection of the remaining trees and installation of the bat houses by our approved professional contractors.
· Permanent lighting was installed in the pathway to Kirkdale on 22 February.
· Hoarding works and tree protection zones will continue after the tree felling operations.
Deliveries
· Skip and trailer for soft strip and asbestos removal via the main gate.
· Tree felling plant and waste away.
