Please see below activities relating to the Sydenham Hill Redevelopment Project which are due to take place from Monday 20 February 2023.
Monday 20 February – Friday 24 February
Works will include:
Improved lighting installed in pathway to Kirkdale: We have installed some better temporary lighting on the pathway ahead of a date to be confirmed when the permanent lighting can be installed, hopefully in the w/c 20 February.
Continuing of soft strip of Mais House. This work will involve the stripping out of any interior fixtures, internal ceilings, temporary and removable structures that aren’t integral to the building to make the site safe prior to demolition.
Asbestos removal from Mais house by licenced contractor.
Tree felling works and facilitation pruning works to continue.
Tree protection fencing to be installed.
Drainage surveys.
Saturday 25 February – Sunday 26 February
No works.
Note
Our arboriculturist and ecologist have attended site to review appropriate progress with the tree felling, protection of the remaining trees and installation of the bat houses by our approved professional contractors.
Hoarding works and tree protection zones will continue after the tree felling operations.
Deliveries
Skip and trailer for soft strip removal via the main gate.
Tree felling plant and waste away.
