Please find below the activities that are scheduled to take place from the week commencing Monday 20 March 2023, in connection with the Sydenham Hill Estate Redevelopment Project.
Monday 20 March – Friday 24 March
Works will include:
Hard demolition of Mais house continuing
Tree felling works and facilitation pruning works to continue
Bat relocation works continuing
Hoarding works continuing to back of Otto Close
Painting of the hoarding.
Saturday 25 March – Sunday 26 March
No works.
Notes
Our arboriculturist and ecologist have visited the site to assess the progress of the tree felling, safeguarding of the remaining trees, and installation of bat houses by our approved professional contractors.
Hoarding works and tree protection zones are in place ahead of demolition of Mais House and will continue to be in place ahead of demolition of the garages in Otto Close.
There is ongoing monitoring regarding pest control, a topic brought up by residents at our previous community liaison group meeting. No issues have been identified yet.

Demolition tipper lorries
One wood lorry per day for timber removal and recycling
Tree felling plant and waste away.

Monday to Friday 08:00 to 18:00
Saturday 9:00 to 13:00.

Meet The Contractor Event Reminder
We would like to invite you to our second Meet the Builder Event on Thursday 23 March 2023 from 6pm to 7.30pm at Lammas Green Community Centre.
Timings:
6 - 6.30pm: Lovell & City of London Corporation representatives available to answer or discuss any issues
6.30 - 7pm: Slide presentation by Lovell; includes programme update and look ahead towards the next 3 months
7 - 7.30pm: Q&A session.
