Sydenham Hill Estate Weekly Works Update: w/c Monday 15 April 2024

Please find below the activities that are scheduled to take place from the week commencing Monday 15 April 2024 in connection with the Sydenham Hill Estate Redevelopment Project.

Monday 15 – Friday 19 April

Block A:

Building the structure to hold the concrete being poured for the first floor.
Perimeter drainage installation

Block B:

Cutting down concrete to foundation piles.
Steelwork to concrete floor
Drainage installation and waterproofing

Block C:

Building the structure to hold the concrete being poured for retaining wall
Vertical steel work for the structure

Otto Close:

Drainage diversion works by 23 Lammas Green are complete, awaiting of delivery of turf to be laid
Kingpost install to hold back the ground level.
Reduce level dig to attenuation tank
Saw cutting to tarmac for manhole installation in Otto Close*

Saturday 20 April

Works will take place at Blocks A-C at Mais House between our permitted hours of 8am – 1pm. The works carried out include drainage installation, steel fixing and material reorganisation.

Noisy works

• Plant movement (excavators and dumpers)

Deliveries

• Muck removal lorries in and out of main gate

• Concrete lorries in and out of the delivery gate

Note

* Please refer to previous notification with diagrams outlining the works which will be taking place in Otto Close for the next 3-4 weeks to connect the new sewers to the existing sewers at the entrance to the road. Sections of the road will be fenced off around the manholes and traffic will be one way only. Traffic marshals will be on site during working hours. The work did not start on Monday 8 April as anticipated, so Week 1 will be next week.
