Please find below the activities that are scheduled to take place from the week commencing Monday 8 July 2024 in connection with the Sydenham Hill Estate Redevelopment Project.

Monday 8 – Friday 12 July

Block A:

External sheet boarding in progress
Scaffolding - 1st floor to 2nd floor
Waterproofing installation ready to splash course
Blockwork to Internal wall

Block B:

Building the structure to hold the concrete for 2nd floor
Concrete pour to columns
Preparing base for scaffolding
Service trenches at sections for water mains installation, including meter installation from Thames Water. Road closure for Thames Water has been re-scheduled to December when it will be quieter.

Block C:

Building the structure to hold the concrete for the 3rd floor
Scaffolding - ground floor to 1st floor
Building retaining wall
Waterproofing Installation

Otto Close:

Groundworks to foundations and drainage works ongoing
Sewage connection works on Otto Close - *See note below

Saturday 12 July (08.00 - 13.00)

Continuation of works listed above

Noisy works

Plant movement (excavators and dumpers)

Deliveries

Muck removal lorries in and out of main gate
Concrete lorries in and out of the delivery gate

Note

From Monday 8 July 2024 there will be a phased closure to parts of Otto Close to carry out works to the manholes to connect the new sewer to the existing sewer. Access for vehicles and pedestrians will be retained throughout, but parts of the road will be single file traffic around the fenced-off areas where work will be taking place. At the end of each day a road plate will be put over the manhole and the barriers will be removed to allow traffic to use the whole road safely.
