Please find below the activities that are scheduled to take place from the week commencing Monday 8 April 2024 in connection with the Sydenham Hill Estate Redevelopment Project.

Monday 8 - Friday 12 April

Block A:

Building the structure to hold the concrete being poured for the first floor
Vertical concrete plus pouring the lift shaft and stairwell
Insulation and waterproofing

Block B:

Cutting down concrete to foundation piles
Concrete to lift shaft and staircase in ground
Drainage Installation and waterproofing

Block C:

Building the structure to hold the concrete being poured for the first floor
Vertical steel work for ground concrete floor
Concrete retaining wall

Otto Close:

Drainage diversion works to Otto Close *see note/separate memo
Kingpost install to hold back the ground level
Water attenuation plastic crates.

Saturday 13 April

Works will take place at Blocks A-C at Mais House between our permitted hours of 8am – 1pm. The works carried out include drainage installation, steel fixing and material reorganisation.

Noisy works

• Plant movement (excavators and dumpers)

Deliveries

• Muck removal lorries in and out of main gate

• Concrete lorries in and out of the delivery gate

Note

Please see separate notification regarding the planned works which will be taking place in Otto Close for the next 3-4 weeks to connect the new sewers to the existing sewers at the entrance to the road. This means that sections of the road will be fenced off around the manholes and traffic will be one way only. Traffic marshals will be on site during working hours.
