Please see below activities relating to the Sydenham Hill Redevelopment Project which are due to take place from Monday 13 March 2023.
Monday 13 March – Friday 17 March
Works will include:
Continuing of soft strip of Mais House, this will be concluded this week. This work will involve the stripping out of any interior fixtures, internal ceilings, temporary and removable structures that aren’t integral to the building to make the site safe prior to demolition.
Hard demolition of Mais house
Tree felling works and facilitation pruning works
Tree protection fencing continuing along with tree removals
Bat roost relocation works continuing as needed
Hoarding works continuing to back of Otto Close
Painting of the hoarding
Following the CLG meeting, options for lighting and security of pathway are being implemented.
Saturday 18 March – Sunday 19 March
No works.
Note
Our arboriculturist and ecologist have attended site to review appropriate progress with the tree felling, protection of the remaining trees and installation of the bat houses by our approved professional contractors.
Hoarding works and tree protection zones will continue after the tree felling operations.
